Deforestation & Global Warming

Global Warming

Global warming means the gradual increase in the Earth’s temperature due to the release of harmful gases like carbon dioxide, methane, and other greenhouse gases. These gases come from human activities such as driving vehicles, running factories, burning fossil fuels, and cutting down trees. Global warming causes many serious problems. Ice in the polar regions is melting, which leads to rising sea levels. This can flood coastal areas and destroy homes and villages. It also causes unusual weather patterns, like stronger storms, longer droughts, and extreme heat waves. Plants and animals are also affected, as their natural habitats change or disappear.

Human health is at risk too because global warming can increase diseases and heat-related problems. To reduce global warming, people should plant more trees, protect forests, use renewable energy like solar and wind power, reduce the use of vehicles, and recycle more. Every person has a responsibility to take care of the Earth. If we act together and take these steps seriously, we can slow down global warming and make our planet a safer and healthier place for future generations.

Deforestation

Deforestation means cutting down a large number of trees from forests without planting new ones. It is a serious problem in the world today. Trees are very important for life on Earth because they give us oxygen, fruits, shade, and homes for many animals. But people cut trees for making houses, furniture, roads, and for farming.

Deforestation causes many problems. It increases global warming because there are fewer trees to absorb carbon dioxide. It also leads to soil erosion, floods, and loss of biodiversity as many animals lose their homes. The climate becomes hotter and rainfall decreases in deforested areas. To stop deforestation, people should plant more trees, protect existing forests, and use wood carefully. Everyone should understand the importance of trees and work together to save forests for a healthy and safe environment.
